Meet The Owner

Glenn Martin: Owner
I am a Christian, a preacher of the gospel of Christ according to the inerrant Word of God, KJV version. Married 30 years to my beloved wife Nora. I'm a father of Mike and Alaina and the proud papa of Baylee, Paisley "Lolli" and Luke "the Duke". I have been in the shipbuilding business since I was a 19 year old kid.
Richard "Dick" Keith taught me everything I know about this business. His lessons on customer relations and taking pride in your work have helped me as a employee, an employer and as a man. He was a true friend.
In 1990 Dick Keith signed a contract with Lester Miller to build the Contico a 147 foot personal yacht. This was my first vessel as the Yard superintendent. I worked for the Keith Family until January 2013. During my tenure we constructed 6 Sir Winston Dinner Cruisers, 6 Royal Caribbean tender vessels, 2 vessels for California --the Endless Dream and the California Spirit. You may see the listing of vessels at DeJong and Lebet, Inc. Architects. I believe in conducting my business with the utmost honesty and integrity as I do in my own home and family. It is my corporate goal to build ships, barges or yachts as cost effective and with quality workmanship that I would be proud to put my name on. The nucleus of my crew have been with me for the duration of my career. They are the most talented, hardworking men that take pride in everything they do. Alan Young is my Yard Superintendent; Mike Keller "Babbitt" is my Steel Foreman; Bob Okesson Maintenance & Outfitting Foreman and Terry Railing is Piping Foreman. I have the support of Colleen Keith-DeSantis, my secretary and her husband Joe, my purchasing agent and Dottie Keith, Dick's wife of 58 years. In May 2013 I signed a contract with Winston and Diane Knauss to build the 7th Sir Winston Dinner Cruiser 128 feet long. You may see the construction progression on the attached links. I look forward to many successful years building top quality vessels.
